I'm getting tired of wearing my winter hat to run. It's April 21st! I should be in shorts! Or sweating from the sunshine and not the amount of layers I have on under my windbreaker.
I took today off from running because I had to go downtown to pick up some race packets for the 5K with my cousin on Saturday. Yeah, even leaving work 30 minutes early, it still took me 2 hours round-trip.
I was driving down the highway. The sun was out for the first time since Sunday. I glanced out the window at the trees along the side of the road- they are still are bare sticks. No green leaves. No birds. Blah.
I would like winter to end. Now. Please? Thank you.
And yes, since you asked, tomorrow for my makeup run will be cold and rainy. And windy. Joy. :(
