Monday: 3.03 miles (25 min, avg pace 8:15) + 0.21 miles walking (3:22 min, avg pace 16:03) = 3.24 miles

Tuesday: 3.58 miles (30 min, avg pace 8:23) + 0.60 miles walking (8:47 min, avg pace 14:39) = 4.18 miles

Wednesday: 5.33 miles (45 min, avg pace 8:27) + 0.15 miles walking (2:31 min, avg pace 16:47) = 5.48 miles

Thursday: 3.64 miles (30 min, avg pace 8:15)

Friday: 1.13 miles (9:32 min, avg pace 8:27)

Saturday: 1.19 miles (10:01 min, avg pace 8:25)

Sunday: 13.21 miles (1:49:51, avg pace 8:18)

  • I ran my 3rd race in Arizona, but my first in the Phoenix area. It was fun, and really pretty, but I much prefer Tucson. (I'm still riding high from my altitude-induced PR!)

  1. Do you do any post run stretches or cool down?

    I usually only do a quick quad stretch, calf stretch, and IT band stretch.

    1. Sometimes I'll walk a little bit, but I never stretch unless something is bothering me. I know, it's terrible.
